CALLING ALL PRIZE ARTISTS - AMATEURS, and PROS! - FREE

Sign up as an adult artist to create art and compete for a $500 prize! This year, festival attendees will have the chance to vote on their favorite artist creation! The People Vote Award will be announced at the end of the festival.

ARTIST GUIDELINES

 

A limited number of competition artist squares are available.  

 

• Professional artists must be at least 14 years of age to apply

• All artists must be able to commit to the event on October 12, 2024

• Artist working hours (but not limited to) are; 8am-3pm 

• Artwork must be appropriate for all viewers – family friendly

• No nudity or political statements will be accepted

• Artwork may not violate any copyright laws

• No writing of anything is allowed outside your square. 

• The entire artist space must be utilized, there should be no pavement

• showing in your square except where it is a part of the artwork

• Only non-toxic soft pastels and chalk may be used. Use of any other

• material is forbidden (i.e. oil pastels, acrylic, gouache, markers, etc.)
